survial Backpack

This week for my survivor I did the survivor backpack and I did it by myself and I even finished it when I was away for two days.

Fabulous Finish

This is my Fabulous Finish and this is my fourth fabulous finish this term. The one I did was called more about me.  I did Ghost. He was so sad when he got kicked off the team because he really wanted to stay on the team. He nearly got kicked off the team because of shoplifting and he got back on the team because he apologize for what he did. He paid for the shoes and he didn't tell his mum about all of it.  I put a lot of colour and I did it with a bit of help with the sharpie because I didn't have enough time.  I was sick because I had a really bad sunburn.

what does S.T.O.P acronym mean












1. think where a big mountain is and get out of the forest. And Stop what you 2. are doing and listen and wait and think to observe and plan. And think what you are doing and start looking for stuff you could use to build a shelter or 3.something. And think what you are doing and start looking for stuff you could use to build a shelter or something. Or you can go thru the forest












2. Where to find freshwater.






Loom for a little damp look up there and start digging because you might find something in there like freshwater and you might keep digging and you might find a lake and follow that so you can get out of the forest.









3 Shelter






There is a shelter that is called the simple tarp shelter and it has lot’s of detail and it only takes 20 minutes and it is really hard to make you need rope wood and you need water to keep you high rated and you need a lot of leaves so you can use it to make a little bed for our self.







4.fire






You can use some rock’s if there is some and you can try and use a twig and get another twig and get big twig because if you use another twig and you gather heaps and put them together it will make a fire.







5. Basic first aid






Lie when you leave you’re at home and about to go in the forest for a walk. What if you get lost and you get lost what will you need before you go. You need the first aid kit and you need a full aid kit because if you get hurt you can use it and build a shelter and get in there and fix the sore up.








6.Signalling for help






If you are stuck in the forest and you need help you can go to high ground and you can wait for a helicopter to go pass and you can wave and they will pick you up and take you back to your place and live happily ever after.

3 Shelter



you can make your shelter out of wood twigs bamboo and lot's of other thing's but you can't use rock'' if you use a rock it will probably break.


Because rocks are pretty hard to balance them. And you can go up in the mountain and build your's there because if you build it there it will be a


really good place to put it because a search party might see you and you will be saved.

1. You can use some rock’s if there is some and you can try and use a 2. twig. and get another twig because if you turn them together they will 3. make a little fire. And if you get a rock and another rock if you smash them slightly on the side you will make a little spark and you will make a fire.





5. Basic first aid







1. If you are in the forest and you are hurt you can use a leaf and you can rub it so all the blood gets off your leg.


2. And you can use grass use it ass a bandage and you can tie the end when you are done.


3. And you can use a little bit of your clothes to make sure si has stopped bleeding and make sure it is not over your hand's else some wild animals might come along and eat you.






6.Signalling for help




1. You can use some of your clothing for a sign if there is a search party because they no there is a man there because there is nothing else in the forest that wear clothes.


2. And you can get up somewhere high and you can wait up there and make a shelter why you are waiting.


3. Or you can build a high tower and a search party might see it and come pick you up to safety and after you can live in the town not in the forest.

A way with words

This week for CC I did pic'n and I did it by myself it didn't take me a while I did an acrostic poem about Ghost. And I also did one of these a couple of weeks ago. and I also did it on my own and I did two this week I did Away with word's and I did digital design too. And it didn't take me long to do this one and it kind of took me a long time to do the digital design and I almost put Ghost was poor. And enjoy my CC for this week.

Figure eight.

Today I did the Figure-eight and I did it by myself and it as pretty easy because I just needed to put the string around the other string then I had to do it again then I put the string thru the loop and then pulled it and then I made it a figure eight. And I did that one last because I did the hardest first to make the last one easier so I can do IXL. And I also did the clove hitch and I did the figure eight that I am doing right now and I did the bowline. ANd this is all I hope you enjoy.

this week we for our whetu survivor we did knots and I did the clove hitch and I did it by myself but I needed to look on the internet to find how to make a clove hitch with a rope. And I did three all together so I can get a gold badge. And I got a lot of badges. I did the clove hitch the one doing now and I did the bow line and the figure eight. And I tried to do the reed but I couldn't because it was to hard and to complicated. And this is what I have done enjoy.

This week We have been learning about knots I did the bowline with Christine and it was hard because there was a lot of loops. And I had to put the string into the loop. And it was little easy making the six with the string. And I did it with help then when Christine was helping. And I also did three of them one is the clove hitch one is the bowline and one is the figure eight.

This is my CC for this week. I did digital design and I did it on my own and I did the flag for the defender's track team. And I did it before too I did it on google drawings. And I also put a couple of pictures on it to. And I even added a colour that was going in circles and I did blue on the outside and yellow in the inside. And I also did green by the yellow to make it stand out.

This week for whetu survivor we did shelters. We made a shelter and a tent and I did the tent with a mixed up group and I did it with Logan Rebecca and Harmen. And we made a bush shelter and we did a tent to. It was easy getting the tent out and it was really hard putting it back in. And we had to have another person to help us put it back. in then we mrs's Fraser came and helped us put it back in.

1  If it is not too cold you can build a shelter on high ground. breezes can help keep the bugs away and you'll be easier to see if a search party passes nearby. if a cold wind is blowing choose a spot surrounded with trees. but don't build in the bottom of deep valleys or ravines where cold air settles at night.


2  And the shelter protects you from rain insects. And it can protect you from wind and cold or hot temperatures.

3  People can use twigs mud rocks leaves and you can use grass. And you don't need too many twigs because you want to have a little window so if you see a rescue party you can quickly jump out.

4 First, you need to camp on a high mountain or if it is to cold go into trees and camp there for the night. And in the morning you can go to the mountain and stay there for the night.
